Swedish Financial Benchmark Facility (SFBF) appoints Head of Risk and Compliance

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs. Jennifer Carpio Alin to the role of Head of Risk and Compliance at the Swedish Financial Benchmark Facility (SFBF).  

Jennifer will be a member of the SFBF Management team and report to the CEO, Catharina Hillström.

“Jennifer’s broad experience within risk management in the financial industry and her sense of details combined with the ability to see the big picture will be essential for a continuous successful administration of STIBOR”, says Catharina Hillström CEO of SFBF. “I am confident that she will add a lot of value to an already robust platform. The team and I are thrilled to having her joining us”.

Jennifer joins most recently from Svenska Handelsbanken where she has been active within financial regulatory reporting and group risk control in various positions for the past decade. She has a long background within the field and has worked with Group Risk and Internal Control for several large Nordic institutions since 2006.  Jennifer, native from the Philippines, moved from New York to the Nordics in the early 2000.

The Swedish Financial Benchmark Facility is an independent benchmark administrator, specifically established to administer the Stockholm Interbank Offered Rate, known as STIBOR.
